Privacy Policy for NectarPay Dash

Hiveway Inc. ("Hiveway", "we", "us", or "our") provides NectarPay Dash, a Stripe app designed to help businesses manage in-person payment workflows inside the Stripe Dashboard.

This Privacy Policy explains how Hiveway collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with NectarPay Dash. This Privacy Policy applies only to NectarPay Dash and does not apply to other Hiveway products, websites, or services unless they expressly reference it.

1. Scope

NectarPay Dash is used within the Stripe Dashboard and is intended for businesses using Stripe Terminal and related Stripe services. This Privacy Policy describes Hiveway’s handling of information processed through NectarPay Dash.

Stripe and other third parties may also collect, use, and process information through their own services. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

2. Information We Collect

In connection with NectarPay Dash, Hiveway may collect and process limited information needed to operate the app.

a. Stripe record identifiers and related account data

We store limited identifiers and related metadata associated with Stripe records, such as:

• Stripe account IDs
• Stripe user IDs
• Stripe customer IDs
• Stripe subscription IDs
• Stripe price IDs
• Stripe product IDs
• Entitlement and subscription status data
• Related operational record identifiers needed to support app functionality

We do not store customer names, email addresses, or phone numbers in our Firebase or Google Cloud-hosted application database.

b. App settings and preferences

NectarPay Dash may store app settings and workflow preferences needed for functionality, such as reader selection, location selection, tax preferences, or tipping-related preferences.

c. Support communications

If you contact us for support or use our customer support portal, we may receive the information you submit through that process, including your name, email address, company information, support request details, attachments, and correspondence history.

d. Information accessed from Stripe

To provide NectarPay Dash, the app may access information available through your Stripe account and permissions granted to the app, such as customer records, products, prices, payment records, terminal readers, terminal locations, tax settings, and billing-related status information. We use this information to power app functionality, but we do not necessarily store all of it on our own systems.

e. Payment card data

Hiveway does not collect or store full payment card numbers through NectarPay Dash. Payment processing and card data handling are performed by Stripe and Stripe Terminal.

3. How We Use Information

We use information collected through NectarPay Dash to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve NectarPay Dash
• authenticate app activity and support Stripe app functionality
• support payment, refund, saved card, catalog, tax, tipping, and billing-related workflows
• store operational identifiers needed for account continuity and app access
• respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
• monitor service reliability and protect against misuse, abuse, or unauthorized access
• comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and security obligations

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information collected through NectarPay Dash.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• with service providers that help us operate NectarPay Dash
• with Stripe, where necessary to provide app functionality within the Stripe ecosystem
• with support providers when needed to manage customer service requests
• when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Hiveway, our customers, or others
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, or similar business transaction

5. Service Providers and Third Parties

We use third-party service providers to help deliver NectarPay Dash, including:

• Stripe, which provides the Stripe platform, Stripe Dashboard environment, payment processing, terminal functionality, billing functionality, and related infrastructure
• Google Firebase / Google Cloud, which we use to host and store the limited application data described in this Privacy Policy
• Atlassian, which we use for our customer support portal and support operations

These providers may process information on our behalf in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide NectarPay Dash, maintain customer account continuity, support returning users, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

Because customers may stop using the app and later return, we may retain stored identifiers and related operational records unless and until deletion is requested or retention is no longer necessary.

Support records may also be retained as needed to manage ongoing customer relationships, document prior support interactions, and meet legal or operational obligations.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through NectarPay Dash against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Hiveway is a Canadian company, and NectarPay Dash supports customers in Canada and the United States. Information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where Hiveway or its service providers operate.

As a result, information may be subject to the laws of jurisdictions different from your own.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

To make a privacy-related request, please contact us at privacy@hiveway.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding to your request.

Because NectarPay Dash operates within Stripe, some data may also need to be accessed, corrected, or managed directly through Stripe or your Stripe account administrator.

10. Children’s Privacy

NectarPay Dash is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through NectarPay Dash.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of NectarPay Dash after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means the updated Privacy Policy will apply going forward.
